Switching to CO2-free electricity at the Technical Center

Starting January 1, 2026, 50% of the electricity used at the Technology Center located on the premises of our head office (Ina City, Nagano Prefecture) will be switched to CO2-free electricity provided by Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co.,Inc. (headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture). With this switch, half of the Technology Center’s annual electricity consumption will essentially be derived from renewable energy, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 521 tons per year.
