Film capacitors generally have excellent electrical characteristics, but their large shape has been a problem.
The PMLCAP uses a vacuum deposition method to form the dielectric, resulting in a significantly smaller and larger capacitance compared to conventional film capacitors.
It is an ideal component for electronic devices that require high performance and high-density mounting. We are also working on this product for automotive inverter circuits.

The dielectric polymer is submicron thickness

Within category temperature range, capacitors have excellent temperature  characteristics, and capacitors can be used without voltage derating.

The risk of ignition and smoking are decreased by using non-self-ignition  materials.

What is the service life of a PMLCAP?

The service life of a PMLCAP varies greatly depending on the conditions of use, particularly if it is used at a higher voltage than the rated voltage or in a hot and humid environment.

Is voltage derating necessary if the PMLCAP is used in the category temperature range?

The dielectric material used in a PMLCAP has superior heat resistance. Therefore, voltage derating is not necessary.

How is the buzz characteristic?

One of the benefits of PMLCAP is very low buzz when AC is applied, due to the high adhesion between the layers.
Please try using PMLCAP in any of your circuits that require quietness.
